Consumer health data privacy
Some of what you do here — the equipment you look at, or ask us about — can suggest a health need. Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s SB 370 treat that as protected consumer health data, so it gets this separate policy.

What we mean by consumer health data
Consumer health data is information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health — including what can be inferred from your activity here. Looking at a particular kind of equipment, or enquiring about it, can imply a health condition, so we treat that activity as health data even though we never ask you for a diagnosis. Corera doesn’t sell equipment, take payment, or handle insurance, prescriptions, or medical records — and our enquiry forms ask you not to send them — so we don’t collect clinical records at all.
What we collect, and why
The health-related data we may hold is the equipment you browse and the equipment you enquire about. We collect it only to show you the catalog and to answer your enquiry — sources are your own activity here and what you choose to tell us in an enquiry form. We do not use it to profile you for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service provider an enquiry needs (our email provider), and only so we can reply to you. When we look into where you can get an item we ask a supplier about the item — never about you: what you need is exactly the health inference this policy is about, so it travels with no name, email, or phone number attached. We do not sell consumer health data, we do not share it with advertising or retargeting networks, and we do not use location tools to track you around health facilities.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm and access the consumer health data we hold, to delete it, and to withdraw a consent you previously gave. We won’t deny you the site or charge you more for exercising these rights. Because we don’t sell or share this data for advertising, there’s no such authorization to withdraw.
